The friendship the guys had was such a great addition to the story and I loved how accepting and encouraging they were. The relationship development between Sam and Israel was perfection!! OMG THE FIRST CONFESSION SCENE! Ahhhhh I melted. I really loved the found family relationship and the conversations warmed my heart. Israel’s character development was amazing and the way he deals with the heart breaking news, breaks your heart as well. Sam was such a cinnamon roll and I just wanted him to get his happiness. The conflicting emotions he felt towards the news and the relationship with his parents was done really well. Sam and Israel has been friends forever and Israel finds out he was switched at birth. The friendship, the chemistry, the doubts, self realisation, accepting and feeling worthy of love, found family, and lots more. This book had everything and was done perfectly. This is the kind of Best friends to Lovers Romance I would love to read and get emotional over.
